Chevron Phillips Chemical’s metallocene linear low-density polyethylene (mLLDPE) resins are produced using the renowned and proprietary MarTECH™ loop slurry technology, which Phillips Petroleum Company introduced commercially in 1961. It is the world’s most licensed petrochemical process for the production of high-density polyethylene. We expanded the manufacturing versatility and breadth of this proven process to introduce a unique family of mLLDPE products through the development and commercial deployment of an entirely novel catalyst system.
