Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer
Wayne Borduin is executive vice president and chief financial officer at Chevron Phillips Chemical Company. He holds executive oversight for the company's finance and procurement functions.
Before joining CPChem in 2026, Borduin served in a variety of senior corporate finance roles at Chevron Corporation, including director of benefit plan investments, assistant treasurer of corporate finance and insurance, and general manager of investor relations. He also held several finance leadership positions within domestic and international operations, including general manager of Latin America Upstream in Venezuela and vice president of finance for Indo-Asia Upstream in Indonesia. Across these roles, Borduin led complex finance organizations, supported major portfolio and capital allocation decisions, partnered closely with business leaders and guided teams through periods of significant change.
Borduin began his career with Exponent in 1997 as a civil engineer before joining Chevron in 2002. He currently serves as a board director for Everen Investment Limited and is a member of the Parent Advisory Council at Baylor University.
Borduin earned a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from Johns Hopkins University, a master’s degree in civil engineering from Stanford University and an MBA from Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management.
