Our company completed 2019 with zero Tier 1 Process Safety Events for the first time ever, achieved our best-ever Tier 1 and 2 combined Process Safety Event Rate, and did not experience a single Recordable Injury associated with a Process Safety Event. Along with this, Q-Chem finished 2019 with a Process Safety Event Rate of zero and ended the year at 588 consecutive days without a Tier 1 or Tier 2 Process Safety Event. Our Baytown facility donated $5,000 to Hearts and Hands of Baytown to assist with their community food distribution efforts during COVID-19. From the onset of the pandemic, Hearts and Hands of Baytown has organized an army of volunteers to serve 91,903 seniors, quarantined and other at-risk individuals with 1.4 million pounds of food and household items using drive-thru distributions and delivery programs. #buildingchemunity

Our Pasadena facility provided lunch for 96 people at the Bridge Over Troubled Waters, a shelter for women and children escaping domestic violence, homelessness and sexual assault. With a total of 89 women and children currently staying at the shelter and seven staff members who have volunteered to self-quarantine with them, we are grateful to help any way we can. #buildingChemUnity
