Europe Region Headquarters

Chevron Phillips Chemical Europe region headquarters in Diegem, Belgium

Our European presence dates from 1968, when Phillips Petroleum opened an office in Overijise, just outside Brussels, Belgium. In 1978, Phillips began construction of an organosulfur plant in Tessenderlo, Belgium. The most recent change to our European portfolio came in 2011, with the purchase of a polyalphaolefins (PAO) plant in Beringen, Belgium.

On May 16, 2016, Chevron Phillips Chemical moved the headquarters for our Europe, Middle East and Africa region to Diegem, near Brussels. In addition, we have area sales offices in Italy, Spain, Germany, the United Kingdom, France and Turkey. We recognize that to grow our business and meet the increasing global demand for petrochemicals, we must do so in a manner that protects the world’s land, water and air resources. We have assessed baseline emissions, and our ongoing monitoring demonstrates that our energy efficiency measures have resulted in lower emissions and a reduced carbon footprint. We continue to explore innovative ways to recycle and lower our environmental footprint in the region.
