Emissions Certification

Diesel

Diesel .05 LS type II is used in the U.S. by the EPA for emissions certification work and engine development work for the 49 states (except California).
10A .05 LS diesel fuel is used by CARB for emissions certification testing and engine development work for the California market.
Diesel .05 LS type I is used primarily during the winter months in the U.S. It does double duty because it is used as home heating oil in the northeastern United States, and in cold climates of the northern United States and Canada, it is mixed with diesel .05 LS type II to lower the freezing point and cloud point of the type 2 fuel.
Ultra low-sulfur diesel fuel is used to minimize emissions from lubricants used in diesel engines and support design efforts for various emission reduction strategies and systems.
Bio-diesel:  Contact us for information about this product.
Fischer-Tropsch fuels are low-sulfur fuels from gas-to-liquid (GTL) processing.
MilSpec and CEC fuels, both gasoline and diesel, are designed to accomplish various testing objectives, including emissions system development and durability testing. Contact us for more information about these products.

Gasoline

UTG 96, 93, 91 are used in EPA emissions and CAFÉ mileage testing.
RF-A industry average is an excellent baseline fuel. It was the standard used by the Auto/Oil Quality Improvement Research Program.
Phase II California certification test fuels are used for emissions testing in California.
