K-Resin® SBC extrusion grades make a clear difference in InnoWare’s rigid food packaging applications. Better clarity and higher gloss provide maximum impact for InnoWare’s polystyrene products and make KR05 an exceptional choice for their food packaging applications. 

Blending KR05 with increasing levels of crystal polystyrene provides incremental cost savings and significantly increases the stiffness of the package with a minimal effect on the clarity. KR05 has been successfully blended with up to 50 percent crystal polystyrene while maintaining its broad process window and exceptional clarity. This is important for takeout containers and similar applications where showcasing the food items being purchased is as important as the strength of the container for spill-free transport.
