Rotational Molding

Rotational molding is a high-temperature, low-pressure process used to form hollow parts through the application of heat and biaxial rotation. Polyethylene resins used in this process are generally limited to those that flow together in the absence of pressure when melted to form a void-free part. Marlex® crosslinkable high-density polyethylene powder compounds offer a combination of excellent mold fill and processability with excellent low temperature impact strength, long-term load-bearing resistance, tear strength, abrasion resistance and stress cracking resistance — properties generally unequaled by conventional grades of polyethylene rotational molding resins. Crosslinkable polyethylene compounds are especially suitable for applications such as agricultural and industrial chemical storage tanks, small engine fuel tanks, trash containers for automated refuse collection systems, plus many more.

Our multiple technology platforms, combined with our innovative research and development team allow us to provide customers with a broad range of resins to meet the many unique needs of rotational molding applications. Our world-class sales and marketing team and highly experienced technical support team can assist customers with resin selection, process optimization, and application development. The products below are our solutions to rotational molding application needs.
