Diacel^® HTR-200 Liquid Cement Retarder Additive

Diacel^® HTR-200 Powder and Liquid Cement Retarder Additives are high-temperature cement retarders and dispersants. The powder form is typically dry blended with the cement prior to preparation of the cement slurry. Diacel^® HTR-200 Liquid Cement Retarder Additive is typically added to the mixing water prior to preparation of the cement slurry.

Diacel^® HTR-200 Additive extends the thickening time of the cement slurry to provide sufficient time for placement. They may be used alone as the primary retarder or in conjunction with Diacel^®HTR-100 Additive or Diacel^® LTR-100 Additive as a retarder intensifier. Use as a retarder intensifier is particularly useful in cements that have a C3A content of greater than 3% and/or a high free alkali content. Diacel^® HTR-200 Additive has a dispersing effect on the cement slurry that is beneficial in reducing the concentration of dispersant required and inhibiting premature slurry gelation. Diacel^® HTR-200 Additive improves the performance of most fluid-loss agents and is particularly beneficial when used with synthetic polymer additives and celluloses.
