Materials Recovery for the Future (MRFF)

Materials Recovery For The Future logo

The American Chemistry Council’s Materials Recovery for the Future research program is developing new technologies to expand recycling. The organization’s goal is to use off-the-shelf technology to upgrade recycling facilities to sort plastic film. The pilot program will be the first of its kind to demonstrate the technical and economic feasibility of recycling household flexible plastic packaging from curbside residential singlestream recycling programs.

Registration Evaluation and Authorization of Chemicals (REACH)

Registration Evaluation and Authorization of Chemicals

The REACH Regulation (1907/2006/EC) requires that EU-based chemical manufacturers and importers register their substances with the new European Chemical Agency (ECHA) by deadlines established according to the volume and hazardous classification of the substances. Chevron Phillips Chemical supports REACH Regulation, and we register all substances imported and manufactured in the EU.
