Training opportunities are designed to expedite learning about our company and its processes, the chemical industry, and professional soft skills. Additionally, training is selected based on its ability to help meet your development objectives. Learning and development topics are covered in both classroom and online environments, as well as through project assignments. Other training opportunities take place through discussions with your supervisor, assigned mentor, and co-workers.

In addition to the learning techniques above, Chevron Phillips Chemical’s New Hire Academy is part of our formal orientation and training program designed to fully immerse new college hires in the company’s corporate culture, history, business philosophy, product lines, and departments. The Academy provides opportunities to network with senior leadership team members and other recent college new hires.
