Water Treatment

DEHA (N,N-diethylhydroxylamine) acts as an oxygen scavenger in high-pressure boiler systems. Its volatility allows for the additional protection of condensate return line systems. DEHA passivates hematite to magnetite, reversing existing surface corrosion and pitting damage.

DEHA use in water treatment applications provides many benefits over its alternatives. DEHA produces no toxic or corrosive reaction byproducts, nor does it contribute to solids levels. It is effective at low loadings and within common boiler water pH and temperature ranges.

Soltrol^® isoparaffin solvents are commonly used to prevent foam formation in aqueous processing applications.
