Extrusion Coating
Phillips Sumika’s Marlex® polypropylene extrusion coating grades complement Chevron Phillips Chemical’s extensive line of polyethylene coating grades. Common applications for polypropylene coating grades include moisture barrier, release paper, ream wrap and insulation backing. Our state-of-the-art pilot extrusion coating line has 4 extruders, includes coextrusion and laminating capabilities, and is capable of speeds commonly seen in commercial plants. We can assist you in developing sophisticated structures for critical, demanding, and high performance applications for coating nearly all substrate materials.
