How It's Made

LPO is produced as a byproduct of ethylene production.

How It's Transported

LPO is transported by tank truck.

What It's Used For

LPO is sold for its naphthalene content. Naphthalene is used in the manufacture of plastics, dyes, solvents and other chemicals and is used as an antiseptic and insecticide.
