Quality products and exceptional service - plus a new name! Chevron Phillips Chemical recently announced it will begin marketing its normal alpha olefins line of products under the trademark AlphaPlus® NAO. Normal alpha olefins and their derivatives are used extensively as polyethylene comonomers, plasticizers, synthetic motor oils, lubricants, automotive additives, surfactants, paper sizing, and in a wide range of specialty applications.

Known for their high purity, AlphaPlus® NAOs are available in the widest selection of fractions, ranging from C4 to C30+. The products are currently produced in the United States, but with the commissioning of Qatar Chemical Company II Ltd. (Q-Chem II) scheduled for 2010, Chevron Phillips Chemical will reaffirm its strong position as a worldwide supplier.
